When Megan and Sonny began dating, they spent a great deal of time in Northern Virginia going to different vineyards and enjoying the wine country of the East Coast. Because this place meant so much to them, they decided to host both of their weddings there!
Their weekend started in Afton, VA at Veritas Vineyard with a wine tasting welcome for their family and friends. The beautiful hills and mountain tops of Virginia set the perfect scene for the weekend. We had a great time shooting some beautiful shots of the couple with Scott and Melissa from Hopkins Studios in Savannah, GA.
The weekend continued to Keswick Vineyard for their first wedding ceremony and celebration of the weekend. Sonny's Indian heritage came through in the Barat, Ceremony and traditional wedding performance by his sister.
The following day, they had a second wedding ceremony and reception at the picturesque Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyards where the sun gleamed through the clouds that lingered all weekend for some amazing moments during the creative session. The Christian ceremony was officiated by Megan's step father and allowed the guests to enjoy a bit of Meg's culture. We could not have asked or dreamed of a more beautiful landscape of vineyards and rolling hills in the background, epic!
Both Receptions concluded with Boston Sound and Lighting providing awesome entertainment. Each night the dancefloor was packed. On Saturday's wedding Deejay Yogz caved and played 5 "one last song's" but after a while the guests started chanting, "one more wedding" instead. The night ended with a romantic and fun sparkler exit for the newlyweds and continued to Ten in Charlottesville for an after party with more entertainment from BSL.
It was such an honor to be part of the wedding pros that participated in this amazing gathering of supportive and warm family and friends from all over the globe.
